DJ-Follower’s Daily Dose of Free Tunes: Solidisco, Bixel Boys and Panic City
This dose will provide you with an original by Solidisco, and the courtesy of the re-launched Fool's Gold clubhouse. Accompanying the original are two ambitious remixes. It's always tough to do authentic re-makes of legendary tracks by the likes of Michael Jackson and Daft Punk. Do you think Bixel Boys and Panic City came through?
Reminder: these tracks are the courtesy of the artist. Sort of creative commons that you are supposed to share, mix and remix as you please. Nevertheless, we urge you to support the artists by acquiring their other releases and going to the shows! Enjoy, and grab them while you can!
Also: Don't miss out on the last edition of DJ-Follower's Daily Dose by Archie, RAC and ETC! ETC!
We have a joyous announcement to make. Fool's Gold has started their own FREE music 'Clubhouse', where they will post weekly freebies by the Fool's Gold family and friends. Obviously we will be drawing your attention to these on our daily edition. Their first treat comes from Solidisco:
"Buffalo young guns Solidisco meld old school funk with big room bump, creating undeniable and instantly danceable bangers like "Never Let You Go." As heard in A-Trak sets around the globe, it's a DJ must have, and the perfect cut to relaunch the Clubhouse series."
It's always tough to remix a legend. Especially if it's the King of Pop, Michael Jackson himself. His 'P.Y.T' or 'Pretty Young Thing' was always favorite among many Michael Jackson fans. See if you like Bixel Boys's remix!
Obviously everybody's emotions are running high in wait for the most anticipated dance album in 5 years. Luckily for you, we've written everything you need to know about it – the definitive news on Daft Punk. Now, you can satisfy your soul with the next best thing – a remix of their song. DJ Panic City has put his spin on the immaculate 'Digital Love'. Enjoy!

ETC! makes sure you get your trap fix, while Archie injects you with good vibes, and RAC takes you reminiscing on the good old days, with a contemporary rendition of the 1996 anthem 'Lovefool'.

Summer's lurking around iin the shadow of Spring, and Archie is already bouncing up and down in his studio. Mord Fustang comes to mind when listening to this remix of 'Roll That Dice' by Cataracs. And that's a good thing!
Benny Benassi did a superb remix of Public Enemy's 'Bring The Noise' for Ultra 2007. ETC! ETC! trapped the remix out for this years Ultra. While Chuck D's vocals are a tad bit too fast, it's more than respectable that the track has been brought to light again again.
A real gem has been uploaded for free grabs. In celebration of hitting the 30K Facebook followers, RAC has released an amazing cover of the 1996 his 'Lovefool'. Covered by André Allen Anjos and Liz Anjos, the megahit has gotten a beatiful new look suitable for those contemporary disco favoring dance-floors.
Is it a plane? The Superman? No, it’s Baauer’s AlunaGeorge remix skyrocketting
The latest single 'Attracting Flies' by the red hot duo AlunaGeorge found instant success upon its release. Aluna Francis and George Reid enjoyed critical acclaim already when the extremely popular track 'White Noise' with Disclouse gathered over 130,000 listeners overnight. Regardless of facing legal trouble for 'Harlem Shake' samples, Baauer stepped up to provide his take on the new track, causing a ruckus himself (over 100k listeners on Soundcloud in 3 days). It's safe to say that this isn't a case of riding the wave, as the remix really is top quality. The highly anticipated AlunaGeorge debut album won't be out until July 1st, but the wait is well worth it – also featured on the LP are remixes by Jamie Jones and S-Type.

New material premiered by Avicii: Listen to the bizarre mix-set at Ultra
Regardless of the heatlh condition that had the Swedish house DJ cancelling his gigs in India, he still stepped up at Ultra, premiering tracks from his heavily anticipated album. Eager crowds were packed in the main stage to hear the performance, but I bet they weren't expecting what Bergling had in stall. Take a listen to the part of the 75-minute performance by the Swedish not so house DJ, and decide for yourself. Our editorial staff is a bit confused on what went down. While Avicii was on the stage, his mentor Nile Rodgers discussed Daft Punk news in the back stage. The Chic frontman's protege later commented on his new album: "It's going to be a lot of acoustic elements but kind of twisted a little bit. It's way more songs than I've done before and it's everything from folk records to more soulful songs."
