Disclosure publish a 360 degree video of ‘Latch’ live performance
A few months ago, the brothers who make up the Disclosure duo were caught in their first 'DJ-acting' controversy. It was a nasty affair, where apparently the organizers were to blame, with Disclosure not doing much of acting anyway now even plugging in headphones. Everybody who's in the know, have a pretty good idea that the one of the highest rising young producers out there are actually capable musicians.
As a follow-up to the live show at New York's Central Park last month, Disclosure have shared a 360 degree video of them performing 'Latch'. The show took place at the yearly Summer Stage festival on August 6. They were joined by vocalist Sam Smith on stage.
Everyone still in doubt about the live playing abilities will have a close-up view of Guy and Howard playing their instruments. Overlook the crowd or check out what was happening in the skies, the choice is yours.
The eventful year has seen the Mercury-nominated debut album 'Settle' hit number one, start a collaboration with the ever sought-after Nile Rodgers and announce another North-Americas tour in 2014.

Nicolas Jaar answers to What Has Happened to New York?
Seems that the mini-documentary is a popular medium for drawing attention. Shortly after Porter Robinson released his Language tour video, we've got another to share with you. This one comes from the courtesy of The Red Bull Academy. A variety of producers and nightlife figures give their input on 'What's Happened To New York?' The biggest name is NY-based electronica wonder-kid Nicolas Jaar who comments: “There’s something about finding yourself through exhaustion. And New York is such an exhausting city. This is why I can make music here, I can really push myself to do maybe unhealthy things.”

Watch: Matinee Ibiza’s insanely extravagant video ad that went viral
Summer season is upon us, and promoters are looking for every possible means to draw attention to their events. One of the more successful ways comes via Amnesia’s Saturday night Matinée. Their video ad has enjoyed somewhat of a viral status, making it sure that the holidaying clubbers will visit the evening that's otherwise rather unremarkable…
…the ad is quite spectacular though. Channeling the excess of the '80s, the commercial isn't directly about the club night. The extravagant ad is about a non-existant energy drink called Ibizious. Including swimsuit models, arcade gaming clips, zombie-dance routines, '80s accessories and miraculous ads – the whole package is part of the campaign which sells the residency as the centre of the excess and hedonism on the island.
But besides the expensive mock commercial, Matinee hasn't got anything amazing to show off. No Guetta or Tiesto on the line-up. Neither Solomun or Guy Gerber will attend this year. Andre Vicenzzo and Flavio are filling the main-room DJ duties during the 3-month Summer season.
So check out the viral-going video, that's a part of an “ambitious audiovisual engineering project” which offers “the biggest showcase of talent and grandeur to be found on the island”
Watch: Mind-blowing technology transforms brainwaves for music production
A truly spectacular project has been carried out. Smirnoff and the Queen Elisabeth Foundation teamed up with DJ Fresh and three physically disabled men. The team set out to produce a track. How? By using the most important instrument of creativity: the mind.
The amazing was made possible by PhD Julian Castet’s. Using the trailblazing technology, the emotions and thoughts were interpreted as brainwaves; which in turn were transformed into sound waves.
In this way, the physical limitations were overcome and with the help of DJ Fresh, a banging original track was finished. The extremely developed technology that made the project possible gives evidence that the pictures painted by futurists and sci-fi novels aren't as far from reality anymore. However, there are obvious restraints and complications waiting to be overcome, until this technology can become widespread.
Watch the making-of video below! The project's outcome 'Mindtunes', is available in the iTunes store, with the Queen Elizabeth’s Foundation for Disabled People!
