Gramatik’s give-away in gramatikal fashion, LP coming up (FREE DL + recap of 2012)
The Brooklyn-based Slovenian dubstep producer known as Gramatik is in a generous mood ahead of his forthcoming LP. Accompanying the announcement of the upcoming album, 'The Age of Reason', he's decided to give a FREE example of what's in store.
'Bluestep' is a great combination of sound waves, sort of a definition of eclectic in music. Gramatik commented on his Facebook page:
Bluestep is a signature Gramatik style genre clash. Lately I've been really into combining the vibes of raw 50's and 60's Blues with all kinds of EDM genres and one of the results is Bluestep. It's a dynamic mixture of Blues and Dubstep, a plethora of screaming guitar, howling vocals and big bass, capturing the raw energies of both music worlds in a hopefully cohesive, possibly outrageous picture. š

Swedish dubstep and house DJ, Claes Rosen, is giving out this freebie – a remix of Nordstorm's track 'IsBjorn', released few years ago. The vocal duties are filled by Ella Sky, making it a dreamy affair indeed. Rosen has given his First Edit touch to the track, managing to make it a must-have for the the springtime prospering!
The Magician is a Belgian mystery-man, as they write: "His background is shrouded in mystery, his powers are supernatural and his reputation is whispered about among men. He goes by different names, but folks just call him The Magician." The most magical thing about this set, the track that made my day is the Dr.Dre inspired house track about 4 minutes in to the mix. Other stuff's great too, though. Enjoy and download for FREE!

DJ-Follower’s Daily Dose of Free Tunes: 19.02.13
In today's selection you will find something for your Friday night's odyssey, and the Sunday after reminiscing. And the best part? These are pieces are the courtesy of the artist. Sort of creative commons that you are supposed to share, mix and remix as you please..
To celebrate gathering 30,000 Facebook fans, Candyland bestowed a solid remix of Lexi Forche featured 'Bring the Rain'. UK's Brown & Gammon are to blame for this nostalgia inducing remake.
OWSLA signee Kill Paris (born Corey Baker) knows his craft when it comes to huge drop-filled dubstep tracks and glitchy basslines. 'Slap Me' had a bit of everything as the original mix, but another layer of funk was added by the 21-year old Detroit native called Griz. In a customarily generous fashion Baker has allowed to put this track out for FREE! Download!
BIG MAKK hasn't come to the wider conciousness just yet, but if his DJ skills come nearly as close as his producing abilities, he'll surely make it. We're going to keep an eye on the 22-year old Orlando based DJ/producer. It's held by many, that 2013 is BIG MAKK's year. To kick off, he's giving the track 'Gila's Theme' out for FREE. The timing couldn't be better, with trap music causing more ruccus than ever, this chilled out tune gets released into the wilderness. Surely a lot of remixes, mash-ups and mixes will be inspired by this one..
