Top 10 Beatport chart by Sander van Doorn
Recently, we brought out some tracks from the techno-oriented Mark Knight's top 10 Beatport chart. Now, the Dutch trance producer and DJ, Sander van Doorn, has come up with a list as well. Just like then, I took the liberty of picking out 3 tracks from the 10, and posting them here. As we have covered most of the tracks releases and official video premiers, there are links to every track on the list!
I'm not going to post tracks that are already posted in other articles. But you can easily find these tracks from the links below!
Just like Mark Knight, Doorn only picked one of his own tracks for the list. Watch the official video for Sander van Doorn's Joyenergizer!
Guetta's 'Just One Last Time' is also on his list. Watch the official video here!
Nicky Romero and Nervo saw huge success with their hit 'Like Home'. Sander recognized that, listen to the original mix and Dillon Francis' remix here!
Then there's Alesso's major release 'Clash'. Watch the official video here!
Fedde le Grand's undoubtedly finest release of 2012. Listen to the original mix of 'Raw' here!
Avicii and Nicky Romero collaborated on the track 'I Could Be the One'. Official video here!
It's a big fail on my part, I haven't posted 'Truffle Pig' before. Although the track's present in a lot of sets, especially van Doorn's Identity Mixes, we never did an article on the track individually. Right now, we have a great chance to post the best release of 2012 by Tommy Trash. The track released from Fool's Gold has found its not only to radio shows, but the biggest stages and crowds. Simply an amazing track, combining electro house and trance elements with amazing vocal loops.
The official video for Hey! by Showtek and Bassjackers. This is right up Sander van Doorn's alley. Dubstep turned into a stadium-sized trance track, no wonder the crowd's mindlessly headbanging to this one!
Finally, BFAM by Julian Jordan & Martin Garrix. The young producers gave out a track reminiscent of early trance tracks. Great tune, certainly big things ahead for these two!

Here's a selection of currently uploaded live sets from the ongoing BPM Festival in Mexico. If you haven't got the chance to be there on the spot, have no worries. Below you'll find an introduction to the event, as well as 7 sets recorded live!
From the official festival page:
"The BPM Festival returns to Playa del Carmen from January 4 – 13, 2013 for its sixth year. After the smash success of last year’s milestone fifth anniversary, The BPM Festival continues its tradition of bringing the world’s best DJs to one of the most alluring party hotspots on the planet.
Unlike other festivals, The BPM festival is a 10-day celebration of music while offering all the stunning attractions and adventures of the Mayan Riviera. One can enjoy dance beats both day and night at multiple venues at a relaxed pace with ample time to discover the sparkling turquoise Caribbean waters, white sand beaches, mysterious jungles and ancient ruins.
This global gathering of DJs, producers, revelers and party professionals has become a must for any music lover with a discerning taste for quality electronic dance music. BPM 2012’s fifth year anniversary blowout had over 35,000 attendees enjoy more than 200 artists and 50 events over 10 sun-drenched days and cool nights. As global clubbing scribe DJ Mag describes it, “The festival affords plenty of space, time and opportunity to meet people on a level as they recline in the blissful setting of a white sandy beach surrounded by lush, tropical plantations, allowing easier integration into the influx of what’s essentially an A-to-Z of who’s who in house music today.”
With over 100 world-class artists returning this year, BPM 2013 promises to be the best edition yet."
Well, you'll find some of the sets from the world-class DJ's below. Enjoy!
