With a new album coming out in May, JME’s at the centre of a new documentary produced by grime DJ Logan Sama.

Integrity, a KeepinItGrimy production, explores the North London MC’s beginnings, his supposed “marketing” of Boy Better Know merchandise, doing less shows meaning he “loves it more” and putting out tunes because he likes it, rather than catering for everyone else.

“People say ‘what about money?’ Yes you do need money. Make sure you’re financially stable to do what you like. If you’re not, do something you don’t wanna do to get the money. Get a job because, in society today, you need money to get by.

“Once you’ve got enough money to be comfortable and be happy, do what you like because you’re gonna be so much happier.”

His album ‘Integrity>’ is set to drop on May 4 with guest spots from Wiley, Skepta and D Double E, as well as productions from Preditah, Montreal artist Tommy Kruise and Joker.
