DJ Riva Starr, aka Stefano Miele, has been a fixture in the electronic music scene for over a decade. Riva Starr grew up in Southern Italy, where he was surrounded by music from an early age. His father’s record collection, which included jazz, funk, and soul music, inspired Riva Starr to pursue a career in music. After moving to London in the early 2000s, he began producing and releasing his own tracks, quickly gaining recognition with his unique blend of house, techno, and funk. In early 2021, Riva Starr released the “In the Midnight Hour” EP, featuring two tracks with a focus on disco and funk elements. The EP showcased Riva Starr’s versatility as a producer, experimenting with different sounds and genres, while also staying true to his distinctive style.
