DJ Richard has announced that his debut album, ‘Grind’, will be released via Dial Records in September.

Along with Young Male, DJ Richard founded the New York label White Material, a techno white label that has been prolific in the three years since it started.

The American DJ moved to Berlin some two years ago, but he maintains that this album will reflect his life in the USA, particularly the crumbling infrastructure of his home state, Rhode Island.

Inspired by “US Navy bunkers and Torpedo loading facilities for submarines during World War II,” this will be a great.
