Calvin Harris and ‘Slow Acid’
Calvin Harris has unveiled his new single ‘Slow Acid’ and it’s probably not what you expected. The single is taken from his hotly anticipated new album, Motion. ‘Slow Acid’ is quite a trip. It features a hard instrumental, that friendly pop sound mixed with some EDM.
The track’s taken from his forthcoming album ‘Motion’ and sees the Scot going down a deranged acid house route, accompanied by a suitably messed up video.
The top-earning producer-dj has teamed up with with frequent collaborator Emil Nava to take over the directing duties for the bizarre visual follows a silver-painted figure, seemingly lost in the night, engaging itself in questionable activities.
Far from the big-room style he’s been nailing in recent years, Calvin will no doubt raise eyebrows of his newer followers with this one, but fans of his debut album ‘I Created Disco’ will be happy to know he hasn’t forgot his roots.
