This is the official message from Above & Beyond's Jono, Tony & Paavo:
"Group Therapy captures the relationship between us, our music and you, our audience, and the magic that happens when those three things interact. It's something you've all taken into your hearts and it lies at the centre of everything that we do - the community, the connection, the interaction. Our radio show is our weekly Group Therapy with all of you."
The title originates from the groups second album 'Goup Therapy' . As the group received criticism for the name 'Trance Around the World' (apparently there isn't only trance on the show) it looked like a great idea to change the name. And it really is a good one, embodying their ideals and expressing their relationship to the community surrounding them. Now you can start tuning in weekly to the global Group Therapy session. The session is going to be more interactive than ever, as Jono, Tony & Paavo will introduce various online features including you in the process.
The policy of the weekly radio show will stay the same - 90 minutes of the best trance and progressive music by Above & Beyond, followed by a 30 minute guest mix from a chosen artist. The previous hashtag #TATW is exchanged with #ABGT.
We will be posting all the sets on our page as well, so if you like to convenience of streaming all your favourite sets from one place, check back for more weekly! The guest mix of Group Therapy session 2 is something special, for Above & Beyond have recruited Armin van Buuren to do the last 30 min of the show!
